The state of the construction zone befroe starting previously there was a 5x2.5 foot desk under the shelves and a 2 x 4.5 foot return next to it. The wall is not on 16" centers which means that the shelves are 4 foot wide.

First test to make sure would work for standing and sitting.

The shelf needed to be a little larger to hold all the stuff I wanted, mainly due to depth.

Just for reference that is a Lacie Raid 1 3TB Firewire drive that I wanted to make sure fit safely on the shelf

Added a small whiteboard. I also made sure to label things as I had some challenges with power adapters. The Lexicon and Lacie power adapters are same connectors and voltage, just different amperage. Important things to check.
